Eleven alkyd resin grades.
Three oil lengths.
From flexible long oil binders for air-drying enamels to hard, fast short oil resins for NC lacquers, polyurethane and baking enamels. Click any grade for its specification and technical data sheet.
Long oil
2 gradesOil length around 60%. Air-drying enamels, architectural paints for wood and metal, varnishes, structural steel and marine paints.
Medium oil
2 gradesOil length around 45%. Wood and metal finishes, alkyd varnishes, boat and yacht coatings, structural steel paints.
Short oil
7 gradesOil length 24–33%. NC lacquers, polyurethane, sanding sealers and baking enamels with excellent whiteness.

Royal Polymer is the alkyd resin division of Royal Paint, founded in 1992. From our plant at Phu Bai Industrial Zone, Hue, we produce 20,000 tons of resin a year — every batch passes through our reactors, our lab and our filling line before it reaches you.

Raw materials
Coconut oil, soybean oil, fatty acids, polyols and phthalic anhydride are checked on arrival.

Synthesis
Synthesised to the target oil length in our jacketed reactors.

Checked for viscosity, acid value, colour and non-volatile content against each grade's TDS.

Filling & delivery
Filled into 200 kg blue steel drums and shipped to your plant.
